Erin embraced the theme of our 2019 campaign by honoring the strength that occurs when patients work together and support each other. Whether it be in their own home towns or via awareness activities online, patients have the chance to change lives. We are truly strongly together!! (Image above)
2nd Place – Amy Q.
Amy’s entry is so unique, so compelling. The contrasts in imagery are fascinating… raindrops vs. butterflies, light vs. dark, looking to the light rather than holding our heads down with grief. And, most of all, that we can and we will fight together, like warriors, for our rights, our healthcare and for our dignity. Well done!!
3rd Place – Lynn Dryburgh
There are moments when despite our best efforts, we can be ignored or dismissed by family members, friends and medical care providers. Our IC is real. We, the IC patient, need support and encouragement. Yet, so many remain silent… as if it will magically disappear. We MUST address the elephant in the room!!! Patients are suffering and they need hope!
