NOW, THEREFORE, I, Buddy Dyer, Mayor of the City of Orlando, hereby do proclaim the month of September 2012 as “Interstitial Cystitis Awareness Month” in the City of Orlando to increase recognition of urological disorders as a significant public health issue and to increase public and private sector funding for medical research as well as targeted educational programs for health professionals, patients and the general public.
