Thanks to the efforts of IC patient Kyla McKechnie, the City of Saskatoon (SK) is the first city in Canada to issue a proclamation in honor of IC Awareness Month this year!!! We would like to thank Kyla for making this happen! She’s exactly the type of patients we need in Canada to get the IC movement started again! Many of you may not know that the only Canadian IC organization folded a decade ago and since then very little has happened nationally. Let’s get this started again. Patients with IC need compassionate care from the Canadian Health System.
