We would like to thank Stephanie Prendergast and Liz Rummer, two of the best pelvic floor physical therapists in the world and located here in the San Francisco Bay Area, for promoting IC Awareness Month in their blog Pelvic Pain Rehab. We’ve long known that patients suffer with pelvic floor muscles so tight that they resemble taught rubber bands and, thankfully, we now understand that physical therapy is an effective and vital treatment option for patients who struggle with PFD.
